Greetings!

We are Joan and Tom McHugh, parents of four grown children and grandparents of seven. During our 25th anniversary pilgrimage to the sites of the Eucharistic miracles in Italy in 1992, we were inspired to spread devotion to the Real Presence of Christ in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. What began with a few talks and a slide show developed into a full-fledged Catholic publishing apostolate named Witness Ministries.

During another trip to Italy in 1995, we had the incredible honor of celebrating our beloved Holy Father John Paul II's Mass in his private chapel. We exchanged a few words with him afterwards and were able to present him with My Daily Eucharist, and our video, The Real Presence.

Joan has been a featured speaker at parishes, conventions and prayer breakfasts around the country. She is the author is six books on the Eucharist, which Tom edits. She is the CEO of Witness while Tom is the CFO. Joan gives retreats based on her books and has written articles for many Catholic newspapers and magazines. Joan appeared on Mother Angelica Live! and gives numerous interviews on Catholic Radio in which she shares her personal story, namely her trials with illness--scleroderma and four bouts with cancer--and the incredible healing she has experienced through the Eucharist.
